Read Me Do!

Getting Real As A
Writer
Just a reminder to fellow cyberaddicts
out there that there's still a real world when it comes to being a
writer.
Below, you'll find a couple of the
hard-copy publications I write for on a regular basis with details on how to
become members and write for them, too (they're members
only).
POETS AT
WORK
This magazine (which arrives
every other month--that is, six times per year) is chock full of
poetry--plus lots of other unique goodies--and is produced and edited (with the
help of God and family) by a delightful senior citizen who goes by the name of
JESSEE POET and lives in northwest Pennsylvania.
There's always lots of contests going
on that are very inexpensive to enter (some even being
FREE!).
This is not only a magazine but, also,
a kind of gathering of people from all over, as it has a real sense of community
about it.
If you're ready to take me at my word, send
Jessee a check for $23 right off the bat.
His address is: P.O. Box 232,
Lyndora, PA 16045
However, if you aren't quite sure I
know what I'm talking about (or, at least, aren't quite sure that we have the
same tastes in literature), you can always request a sample copy for just
$4.00.
THE QUILL
If you pay your five dollar dues to
become a member of the SOUTHERN INDIANA POETRY CLUB, you automatically become
eligible to have your poems showcased in their four-times-per-year magazine
known as THE QUILL.
Since I'm sure that you would not only
want to know that your poems are in there but, also, to be able to hold a copy
of this beautiful, colorful publication in your hands, you would surely want to
subscribe to it as well.
For a year's membership in S.I.P.C. and a
year's worth of THE QUILL, send check or money order for $25.40
